Every Purchase Helps Make Giving Possible

At Durazza, creating beautiful home décor is only part of our purpose. We believe a business can create comfort at home while contributing to meaningful work in the wider community.

At the end of each year, Durazza designates a portion of annual sales made through Durazza.com to charitable giving that supports survivors of human trafficking. Our support may include cash contributions, donated products, and assistance with community events and fundraising efforts.

Our Primary Nonprofit Partner: I AM F.U.S.E.

Our primary nonprofit recipient and community partner is I AM F.U.S.E. (Free. Unashamed. Safe. Empowered.), a survivor-led organization serving Southwest Florida.

I AM F.U.S.E. works to address sex trafficking and exploitation by providing trauma-informed support that helps women heal, rebuild, and become empowered leaders in their communities.

How I AM F.U.S.E. Helps

Its survivor-centered services and community work include:

  • Mentorship and therapy support
  • Independent life-skills development
  • Case management
  • Emergency and transitional housing assistance
  • Food and basic-needs assistance
  • Continued education support
  • Community outreach, training, and collaboration

Through this work, survivors receive practical and emotional support while rebuilding stability, independence, and hope.

How Durazza Supports the Mission

Since beginning our relationship with I AM F.U.S.E. in 2025, Durazza has supported its mission through:

  • Cash contributions from Durazza’s annual giving program
  • Product donations for fundraising and community events
  • Custom gift baskets for survivor speakers
  • Raffle and event contributions

I AM F.U.S.E. is the primary recipient of Durazza’s charitable giving. We may also provide smaller contributions to other organizations whose work aligns with our commitment to survivors and the local community.

As Durazza grows, we hope to grow the support we can provide. This is an ongoing commitment rooted in the experiences and advocacy work that inspired Durazza’s founding.

Why This Work Matters

Survivors of human trafficking can face significant barriers while rebuilding their lives, including finding safe housing, accessing counseling and education, meeting basic needs, and establishing long-term stability.

Survivor-led and trauma-informed organizations provide essential support during that process. When you shop directly through Durazza.com, you help make our annual giving and community contributions possible.

Recognizing Possible Signs of Human Trafficking

Human trafficking can affect people in cities, suburbs, and rural communities. No single sign necessarily proves that trafficking is occurring, but certain circumstances may indicate that someone needs help.

Possible indicators can include:

  • Appearing to be monitored or controlled by another person
  • Feeling unable or afraid to leave a job, relationship, or living situation
  • Not having control of personal identification or travel documents
  • Being unpaid, underpaid, or indebted to an employer or recruiter
  • Living or working in isolated, unsafe, or heavily controlled conditions
  • Showing fear or reluctance to speak freely in another person’s presence

For additional information, visit the National Human Trafficking Hotline’s Recognizing the Signs resource.
